We started RuLee Construction LLC to do construction the way we always wanted it done — with clear scopes, documented decisions, and a single accountable owner from the first walkthrough to the final closeout package. No layered handoffs. No "someone will get back to you" callbacks. The owner picks up the phone — and walks the site.

Built by the hands that walk the site, not handed down a chain of command.

Rui Reis founded RuLee Construction LLC in Roselle Park, New Jersey to bring something specific to the residential remodel, finish carpentry, and light commercial market: a contractor whose name is on the LLC, on the contract, and on the phone — the same person who walks the site, writes the scope, and signs the closeout package.

That structure is not a marketing line. It is the operating model. Every quote, every site visit, every change order, every punch list runs through one accountable owner. No handoffs between estimating, project management, and the field. No layered organization to defuse responsibility when a finish detail is off or a schedule slips.

Rui operates RuLee Construction as a single-member NJ LLC registered to do business in the State of New Jersey. The company carries the federal Unique Entity Identifier required for federal-tier procurement work.

What clients can expect is straightforward: the owner answers the phone, walks the property, drafts the scope in plain language, and is on the punch list at the end. Nothing about that is automated. Nothing about that is delegated. That is what owner-operated means here.
